It’s great to read some positive news about news writers. Below is a link to a recent article that appeared in The Economist from the USA.
One of the many interesting facts in this article is that 5,000 new full-time (read that as real) jobs have been created in digital news rooms. They also report that real features are being written online by senior writers from mainstream press who have been rehired in the growing digital news world. We should forgive their digital time delay given they first went to press in September 1843!
I found this article a good overview on where digital media is going and how cheap it is getting to become the next Rupert Murdoch.
