Registrations now open: EPAdvantage ‘Real Life Estate Plans’ course.
Australia’s once youthful population is ageing with our median age being 38, and as the baby-boomer generation ‘matures’ one in six Australians are now over 65 years of age. Furthermore, more than six million families counted by last Census (45% of these families were couples with children, 38% were couples without children, and 16% were single parent families), and yet more than half of Australians don’t even have a will let alone a comprehensive estate plan.
The state of the nation clearly indicates that establishing estate planning as an essential part of the client engagement model makes for a compelling argument. But as Advisers cannot be seen to be giving estate planning advice, how do you gainfully embed estate planning in your practice without attracting greater risk?
SUPERCentral’s EPAdvantage holistic approach
The EPAdvantage ‘Real Life Estate Plans’ course provides Advisers with a smart growth path to help realise the opportunities presented to them in estate planning.
Designed by SUPERCentral and Townsends Lawyers in response to many Advisers seeking practical training in estate planning, the course addresses the most common estate plans, covering the needs of the majority of clients.
“The ‘Real Life Estate Plans’ course bridges the gap between theory and practice and the structure allows Advisers to participate individually or elevate the skills of their entire office in preparation for estate planning demands envisaged in 2018 and beyond,” said Peter Townsend, Managing Director of SUPERCentral.
“The course complements our EPAdvantage Estate Planning Program, an end-to-end solution that offers financial advisers, risk professionals and accountants immediate access to everything they need to provide a holistic, cost-effective and professional estate planning service, with particular focus on mitigating Adviser risk,” he said.
Delivered by specialist solicitors from Townsends Lawyers, the next start date for the course is 15 February 2018. Participants from the 2017 sessions provided very positive feedback, with one participant’s response summing up the sentiment: “It has been a sensational course!”
