The Institute of Managed Account Professionals (IMAP) has again coordinated a combined Managed Accounts stand at the FPA Congress to be held in Brisbane 18-20 November. In addition to coordinating the stand, IMAP has published the Managed Accounts Handbook, a guide to implementing a Managed Accounts Program in a planning practice.
This year Managed Accounts Central brings together many organisations involved in providing managed account services. There are three Managed Account Providers: HUB24, managedaccounts.com and OneVue, plus six Investment Managers: Arnhem, Crystal Wealth, Elston, Farnham, Insync and Ventura.
“Managed Accounts are finally coming into their own” said Toby Potter, Chairman of IMAP, “and almost every adviser is now either already using them or considering how to incorporate them into their practice.”
“Managed Account Central gives the advisers who attend the chance to improve their knowledge of the potential of managed accounts programs by comparing the services offered by each of the providers and investment managers,” Mr Potter said.
